小金井国际支援协会
我们是居住在小金井市的志愿者市民,为支援外国人居民,于2019年4月成立了志愿者团体。我们教授外国儿童日语,还可协助他们在学校上的学习,提供孩子们的生活咨询服务,另外,我们还举办多文化交流活动等。

主要的活动
1.除了定期面向小学生的日语学习支援之外,如果学校里(小学)有要求的话,还会进行科目学习的支援。
2.我们也提供成人的日本语学习支援和生活咨询。
3.为了加深多元文化共存的相互理解,我们会举行烹饪教室等各种活动。
4.我们和小金井市合作,为外国家长制作了中小学就学指导手册,在主页上即可查询。
招募志愿者
在我们的团队中,志愿者根据各自的技能和意向进行各种活动。
从2023年4月开始,每周五18:00-19:00会举行学习支援会。

历史
2019年1月我们举行了【与外国人在地区内更好居住】的讲座由有志的学员组成了该团体。
- 2019年8月举行了为期三天的暑假作业应援会。
- 2019年9月在市内小学开始教科学习支援。
- 2019年11月以小学生为对象开始定期的举办学习支援会。
- 2020年 因COVID-19的影响,学习支援会无法召开,在这种环境下,开始进行线上教学,提供更加细致的支援。
- 2020年6月每月第二个星期三在公民馆贯井北分馆重新召开面对面的学习支援会,同时继续进行线上教学的支援。
- 2020年、2021年、2022年也实施了暑期作业支援会。
- 2023年3月作为国际交流事业开办了菲律宾料理教室。
- 从2023年4月开始在东町友爱会馆实施每周面对面学习支援。每月、每周的面对面学习支援、每周的日语学习支援以多个儿童和成人外国人为对象,实行一对一形式。
我们的规则
1. 本会是由对帮助外国人和国际交流事业关心支持和理解的人们参加并运营的。
2. 本会会员可自己决定自己的活动内容,并负起责任进行活动。
3. 尊重和理解各国、各地区的文化和语言。
4. 会员在有烦恼时,会和其他会员商量来解决问题。
5. 重视个人信息安全,防止将个人信息泄露给他人。

Koganei International Support Service Association/ KISSA
Established in April 2019 by volunteers living in Koganei City, this is a volunteer organization aimed at supporting foreigners.
We teach Japanese language and school subjects to children with foreign roots, while also providing daily life counseling and Japanese language lessons to foreign residents.
Additionally, we organize multicultural exchange events and other activities.
Information
We hold a study support sessions for elementary school students who struggle with Japanese at 6:00PM every Friday, at the Koganeishi City Library East Annex.
Now accepting participants.

Our activities
1. In addition to regularly held Japanese lessons, we also provide study support on specific subjects upon request for elementary school students.
2. We assist adults with Japanese language and lifestyle, as well as providing support.
3. To enhance a mutual understanding for multicultural coexistence, we organize various events like cooking classes.
4. In collaboration with Koganei City, we have created a guidebook for foreign parents regarding enrollment in elementary and junior high schools. The guidebook is available on our website.
Volunteer recruitment
In our organization, volunteers engage in a variety of activities based on their own individual skills and aspirations. Starting from April 2023, we host a study support session every Friday from 18:00 to 19:00. Would you like to join us as a member?
Language proficiency is not a requirement.
There is no admission fee or annual membership fee.

History
January 2019: The "Course on Creating a Local Place for People Connected to Foreign Countries" was held, and volunteers among the participants started this organization.
- August 2019: A three-day summer homework support event was held.
- September 2019: Started subject learning support at city elementary schools
- November 2019: Started regular study support sessions for elementary school students.
- 2020: Under the circumstances where face-to-face learning support sessions cannot be held due to the COVIT-19, ,online learning was implemented to provide more detailed assistance.
- June 2020: We resumed in-person study support sessions on the second Wednesday of each month at the Koganei City Library, Nukui Kita Annex, and continued online learning support.
- 2020, 2021, 2022: Summer homework support events were conducted.
- March 2023: As part of international exchange activities, a Filipino cooking class was organized.
- Starting in April 2023, weekly in-person study support has been provided at Higashicho yuai Hall. Both in-person and online study support sessions, including weekly Japanese language lessons, are being provided as one-on-one's to multiple children and adult foreign residents.
Our rules
1. Our association is run by individual volunteers who understand and are interested in supporting foreigners and international relationships.
2. Our members come up with ideas themselves and decide how to pursue them under their responsibility.
3. We share the idea of understanding different cultures and languages of each county.
4. Our members share any difficulties before trying to solve problems themselves.
5. Our members value individual privacy, thus no private information will be shared or distributed outside the association.
